Applications are open for the 2027 Honor of Kings Global Esports Team Partner Program. We’re inviting esports organizations interested in competing in the 2027 HOK leagues in Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia and Brazil to build a lasting presence in HOK—with support both on and off the stage.

Who should apply?

We’re looking for organizations with an established fan base, a meaningful brand or community presence, and the ability to sustain professional team operations. You should be ready to invest in HOK, engage fans and contribute beyond tournament participation.

What partner teams get?

A place in your regional league

Selected partners receive direct entry into the corresponding HOK regional league. Compete against the region’s teams and give your fans a team to follow throughout the season.

Support beyond the match

Receive support across team operations, content creation and community events. The program recognizes that building a successful esports organization takes more than results: it also takes consistent operations, engaging content and an active connection with fans.

Competitive Incentives

Earn additional incentives through tournament results and eligible recruitment of import players or coaches. These incentives recognize competitive achievement and investment in team development, with specific eligibility and payment requirements explained in the detailed Program Guide.

More opportunities to collaborate

Eligible partners may have opportunities to collaborate on in-game items, including Voice Stickers, bringing their team identity into the game. Partners may also receive priority consideration for relevant collaborations with other Tencent and TiMi projects. These opportunities depend on availability and are not guaranteed.

How the partnership works?

Partners are classified as Flagship, Core or Rising. Support and requirements vary by tier and region. In return, partners are expected to maintain professional operations, compete, create content and engage their communities. Funding and incentives are linked to agreed requirements and actual delivery, with details set out in the regional guide and final partnership agreement.

How to apply?

1. Submit a preliminary application. Provide basic organization information, proof of identity for the person submitting the application, and a signed NDA.

2. Complete your detailed application. Teams that pass the initial review receive the full Program Guide and a Google Sheets template to complete and return.

3. Assessment and selection. Tencent reviews applications, determines regional rankings and assigns partner tiers.

4. Results and confirmation. Selected teams are contacted to confirm their tier and partnership arrangements.

5. Official announcement. The confirmed partner lineup is announced.

FAQ

Is selection based only on competitive results?

No. We also assess your operations, fan base, influence, investment in HOK and overall partnership fit. Tier placement reflects the combined assessment and your regional ranking.

What about the Honor of Kings Major League(KML) regions?

Program arrangements for the Major region are still being developed. We will announce dedicated plans separately. Please follow official HOK Esports channels for updates.

When will partner teams be announced?

The partner lineup is expected to be announced in January 2027. Any changes to the timeline will be shared through official channels.
